Give Acting A Try

Give+Acting+A+Try

Have you ever wondered what inspires people to become actors and what they can learn from it? Acting is a category in theater that people do. It is a creative, fun, and hardworking hobby. It can even be people’s career. You can learn so much from it by performing until you get it perfect to getting more comfortable with public speaking.

In acting, you get to perform on stage, and you have to rehearse for hours each day to remember your lines. I spoke to a student at McCullough Junior High School named Kennedy Kolterjahan, who was talking about how she made so many new friends throughout the school year in her acting class. She got to interact with them, learn new things about them, and make many projects with them. Acting really brings out a fun side in you and you will improve in many things. Kennedy adds, “I learned to project and not be afraid to do projects. I also got comfortable speaking in front of people.” She is so glad she chose to do acting because of this reason and more.

Another statement Kennedy mentions is, “If you try hard, you get rewards after your play. You get either a good note or bad note, and if it’s good, you can continue to be a well working actor.” This shows that every time she performs her teacher lets her know how she does on her performance. She explains that the note can tell her what she needs to improve, what she messed up on, and what she can add to her performance for the next time she has to go on stage.

Acting is something not everyone loves to do. But if you don’t have a hobby and want one, then you should try this out. You will most likely end up enjoying it. Like the passage said, acting gets you to open up to people, feel more comfortable public speaking, and much more.
