Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be called a superstar? I Interviewed Ada Wegner-a real superstar-about her accomplishments and advice she has to give. Ada is a 7th grade student at McCullough, and she does extracurricular activities that take lots of time and dedication. Despite that, Ada manages to stay organized and structured!
When I asked Ada what it takes to be a superstar, she said that part of it was that “You have to always try and get good grades and keep them good.” Ada has exceptional grades, A’s in every subject, and she also does a sport and band. Even while all those things are going on, Ada strongly believes that grades should always come first. In fact, when I asked her what the best advice she’d ever received was, she said “To focus on my homework before anything else.” The first step to becoming a superstar is getting good grades!
Along with her grades, Ada has some great accomplishments. This year, she took high school math. In order to be eligible for the class, you have to take a difficult test. Getting into band and Color Guard are also some accomplishments of Ada, as both have very high standards for members, and are time consuming. Ada told me that “Middle School is harder than Intermediate school because you have more work and more responsibilities.” When I asked Ada how she handled everything, she simply said, “I go to all my classes and always work hard.”
Ada Wegner is definitely a superstar. She has amazing grades, accomplishments, and she manages to stay put together even between homework, Color Guard, and band. When asked if she had any advice for people who want to be a superstar, she said “Keep up your grades.”
